Girls of Keryala

 We have ventured Into the hill areas of Keryala supporting a rescue mission in this very remote area. All these girls live in the hills in Makkiyad, Keryala. Either their parents have been unable to support them or indeed they don't have parents at all. For a girl growing up in rural India, this is nothing less than  a catastrophe. Child Aid stepped into help and make their lives more secure and hopeful.

Relaxation for these girls is doing homework, believe it or not ! But having to do their studies by candlelight was no joke, so we bought them a solar panel so they could have uninterrupted electricity.
