Making Greeting Cards

The Craft Centre sells hand-painted Greeting Cards ; this is one way how the girls can make a small living for themselves

Making Table Cloths

Some girls are expert at needlework, these girls are embroidering designs onto table cloths and table napkins ; the designs are stunning and the finish so good that the reverse and the front show little difference.  Some of the designs produced by these girls are illustrated in the Craft SHOP - if you want to know more, or would like them to produce a table cloth and napkins for you, simply write to us  and we will send you an order form or look in the Craft SHOP for more information.         

All of the girls at this Craft Centre enjoy their work ; their everyday life is now more interesting, they can make Saris, blouses and many other clothes.  Most of these girls are without parents or their parents cannot support them financially ; they all find their new life much better than working in the paddi fields. 

Our next project will help the underprivileged even more.  The Nurses Teaching College is something that can give these girls a real purpose in life
