How many times have you received requests from charities to help and asked yourself,  
how much of my donation is actually used for those in need ?
Well, with CHILD AID, this is the answer to that question, `every penny, every cent`,
not one penny or cent of your child sponsorship gift goes on our administration.  
`How can this be, you ask ?`
Well, very simply, CHILD AID is a relatively new charity , formed by a small group of people
who accidentally became involved in the problems many villages
in rural Southern India experience.

how could anyone resist these faces







his name is Selvaraj    and     her name is Aiswarya.

Selvaraj is now an adult and after almost ten years help he is shortly to become a University graduate.
Little Aisawaya has just embarked on her journey, six years old, but for the first time in her life
she is going to school, something she never dreamed would be possible.
This story started by accident.
  
Following sponsorship of some Indian children, our Trustees decided to visit the children in India.
So impressed with what was being undertaken, an experience not to be forgotten.
Returning, CHILD AID UK was formed to continue the good work.
A totally independent charity.

So what has CHILD AID been doing ?
We have over 200 children in educational sponsorship.
We have built, by western standards, a modest school.
We have built and fitted out a number of medical centres.
we have funded, for the first time ever in these rural areas, some 200 toilets  in a village
